I have spent over two decades inside education — as a teacher, a literacy coach, a school leader, a superintendent, a founder, and a scholar. What I bring to every engagement is not theory alone, nor practice alone. It is the rare and deliberate integration of both.

Whether you are looking for a strategic thought partner, a compelling voice for your next event, or a scholarly collaborator, you are in the right place.

Consulting

I partner with school and district leaders, educational entrepreneurs, founders, and Higher Education professionals who are ready to move beyond surface-level solutions and build systems that last.

My consulting work is grounded in more than two decades of experience leading in some of the most complex educational environments in urban America. I bring both the practitioner’s instinct and the scholar’s framework to every engagement, which means my clients don’t just get advice. They get a partner who has done the work.

Areas of Focus

I offer consulting services across the following areas:

Leadership Development — Building the capacity of individuals and teams to lead with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Organizational Change and Turnaround — Designing and implementing strategic frameworks that stabilize, redirect, and grow educational organizations.

Literacy and Curriculum — Developing research-informed approaches to literacy instruction and curriculum design that center student outcomes.

Strategic Planning — Guiding organizations through visioning, goal-setting, and action planning processes that are both ambitious and achievable.

Speaking

I speak to audiences who are ready to be challenged, equipped, and moved to act. My sessions are not motivational fillers. They are research-grounded, story-driven, and designed to leave lasting impact.

I have brought my voice to conferences, professional development events, and leadership convenings, always with the same commitment: to meet audiences where they are and move them forward.

I am available to speak for:

Conferences and professional development events seeking a dynamic, credentialed voice on educational leadership, equity, and systemic change.

School and district leadership teams ready to engage in honest, productive conversations about culture, strategy, and growth.

Signature Topics Include:

Leading Through Turnaround — Lessons from the front lines of organizational change in urban education.

Equity as Infrastructure — Why systemic reform requires more than good intentions and how to build the systems that make equity real.

The Scholar-Practitioner — What happens when research and leadership refuse to be separated.

Growth as a Practice — Drawing from The GROWTH Framework™ to explore how personal and professional development fuel organizational excellence.

Research

My scholarly work sits at the intersection of equity, leadership, and systemic reform in urban education. As a doctoral candidate pursuing my Ph.D. in Educational Leadership at Western Michigan University, I am committed to research that does not stay on the shelf. I pursue questions that matter in real communities, real schools, and real lives.

I am actively engaged in research and open to meaningful collaboration with fellow scholars and practitioners who share a commitment to advancing equitable educational systems.

I welcome:

Academic collaborations and co-authorship with researchers working in aligned areas.

Peer review and scholarly consultation for work at the intersection of educational leadership and urban equity.

Opportunities to present scholarly work at academic conferences and research convenings.
